Clear aligners are virtually invisible. It is a clear alternative to braces. Clear aligners gently move your teeth to their ideal position. The aligners are robotically engineered to fit you perfectly. This makes them a very comfortable and aesthetic orthodontic treatment option

Orthodontic retainers need to be worn after treatment in order to maintain the position of your teeth. Teeth continue to move throughout life; hence retention is indefinite.

Sometimes minor tooth correction is all that is needed. Perhaps you have had some relapse following previous orthodontic treatment; or maybe you just want a couple of teeth re-aligned. This is when we may offer you ‘ACT Lite’- a simple, short, braces or clear aligners treatment over 6-9 month duration.

Dr McConnell is an Australian-trained, board-certified Specialist Orthodontist with over a decade clinical experience in Orthodontics, practicing in both Canberra and Sydney since 2017.
Dr McConnell opened ACT Ortho in 2026, with a passion to provide high quality, professional and caring Orthodontic services to Canberra and the surrounding region.
Dr McConnell is well known for the quality of her orthodontic outcomes. She has a focus on personalised patient care, and thoroughly enjoys interacting with the patients and families of whom she treats.
